In 2000 Roseann Coyle and her brother William (Bill) Zweir, tired of working in an often unappreciated job market, decided to
look for a venture that they could enjoy together. That same year their sister Joanne and her husband bought a new home.
Joanne commented to R & W that she never even received a thank you card let alone any form of a gift of appreciation.
With that in mind it gave Roseann and William an idea -- start a creative gift-giving concept. Combining Roseanne’s many years
of managing specialized retail stores and William’s background and education in creative and culinary arts they formed the
R & W Basket House L.L.C.
For over two and a half years now Roseann and Bill have been creating one-of-kind custom gifts, mostly in the way of a gift
basket. They have shipped or delivered baskets all over the country and even a special birthday basket to Regis Philbin.
Through word of mouth they have now entered the world of corporate gifts. Many local businesses in the tri-state area have
benefited greatly by using their services to show appreciation to customers and employees.
While most orders come from the internet, fax or telephone, many customers enjoy browsing in the Shoppe and selecting items
for their custom gift.
It has definitely become a family business. George (Dad) oversees all of the shipping and delivery schedules and Roseann
(Mom) has come out of retirement and is now their fulltime bookkeeper. Joanne (Sister) has become the outside sales representative
and fundraising coordinator. During the major holiday season many other family members are also called upon to help as well.
Roseann Coyle also conducts a 3 part seminar on gift basket making twice a year locally.
